Don’t Face the VA Alone – Veteran Benefits

Dealing with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs can be frustrating and difficult. For Veterans who have served their country, it shouldn’t be that difficult to receive the benefits that have been earned. The reality is that signing up and filing a claim with the VA can be frustrating. Don’t do it alone.

The Marine Corps League, Department of Michigan, closed its Accredited Veteran Service Office in 2018. However, Michigan has a coalition of other Veteran Service Organizations that hire and train accredited Veteran Service Officers. They receive State funding and funds from their parent organizations.

If you need to file a claim with the VA, ask questions about a current claim, or understand what benefits you do have, visit www.mivabenefits.org to learn about the process and find an Accredited Veteran Service Officer near you. Their service is free of charge, and YES, they are better than hiring an attorney.

Don’t Face the VA Alone.
